      Turn on notifications

      1. On iPhone or iPad, open Chillin’s Home Screen icon first.
      2. Tap your creature at the top right → Enable notifications → Allow.

      Already blocked? Check your browser settings, or on iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Chillin. You can mute friends in your profile.

      Stop the camera and mic questions

      Calls start with your camera off either way. Allowing it once just makes turning it on a single tap.

      iPhone or iPad: open Settings → Apps → Safari → Camera → Allow, then Microphone → Allow. The Home Screen icon uses Safari’s choice.

      Just for Chillin instead: in Safari, tap aA beside the address → Website Settings → Camera and Microphone → Allow.

      Android or a computer: when Chrome asks, pick Allow, not “Only this time”. Already chose? Tap the icon left of the address → Permissions.

      Use the same browser to keep your name and friends.

      Allow access when your device asks. iPhone may ask again when you reopen Chillin.

      To change permissions in Safari: page menu → ⋯ → Website Settings → Camera or Microphone → Allow. These settings may not carry over to the Home Screen app.

      Allow access when your phone asks. Said no before?

      iPhone or iPad: open Settings → Apps → Chillin, then turn on Microphone and Camera.

      Android: open Settings → Apps → Chillin → Permissions, then allow Microphone and Camera.

      Switching apps during a call

      iPhone can pause your mic when you switch apps or lock the screen. Keep Chillin open while chatting. If you see Retry mic when you return, tap it.

      The bell rings while Chillin is open. Background alert sounds follow your device’s sound and Focus settings.

      Your people appear once you both tap Add after a hangout.

      Your name and connections are saved in this browser. Telegram’s browser, Safari and Chrome each have their own profile. Use the same browser to return to your people. Forgetting it starts a new profile.

      Blocked people

      People you block can’t join your hangouts, add you, message you or send you voice notes, and they don’t see when you’re hanging out. They aren’t told.

      Something wrong?

      Tap a friend, a message or a voice note to report it, or email us at [email protected]. We read every report. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services.

      Delete your account

      Permanently remove your profile, photo, friends, voice notes and tags, and sign out every device. Hangouts you host will end.
