Terms of Service

Chillin is operated by Carbide Studios (“we,” “us”). These Terms govern your use of Chillin. By selecting “Accept and continue,” you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Chillin.

Who can use Chillin

You must be at least 13 years old. Provide accurate information during the age check. People under 13 may not use Chillin, including through someone else’s profile. If you are under 18, review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian and have their permission to use the service.

Your profile and invitations

Use your own profile and keep access to your devices and recovery email secure. Do not impersonate someone else or share sign-in codes. Share hangout links only with people you intend to invite: a link can be forwarded. Use the available audience and room controls to manage who can join.

How we treat each other

Reporting, blocking and removing someone

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can report them from your people list, their card, a chat message, or a voice note. Choose a reason and add a note if you like. We review reports and may warn, restrict or remove people who break these Terms. The person you report is not told who reported them.

You can block anyone. Blocked people can’t join your hangouts or be in one with you, add you as a friend, message you, send you voice notes, or see when you’re hanging out. Blocking ends your friendship, and they aren’t told. You can unblock people in Settings. A host can also remove someone from their hangout, and that person can’t rejoin it.

Our moderation contact is [email protected]. Include enough context for us to identify the issue, but do not email passwords, sign-in codes, or illegal images. Please don’t misuse reports to harass someone. Chillin is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate danger.

Your content and privacy

You keep ownership of what you share. You give us permission to host, process, and transmit it as needed to provide Chillin and address security or abuse. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it. Other participants can see or hear what you send and may capture it outside Chillin.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we handle, service providers, retention, and how to request access or deletion. Accepting these Terms does not give us unrestricted rights to your content.

Availability and account restrictions

Chillin is an evolving service. Features can change and calls can be interrupted. We may restrict or suspend access to enforce these Terms, protect users, respond to abuse, or comply with law. Accounts identified as belonging to under-13 users are restricted. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.

You can stop using Chillin at any time. Choose “Delete my account” in your profile to permanently remove it, or contact [email protected] for help. The Privacy Policy describes deletion and limited retention. Signing out or removing the app does not itself delete a saved profile.

Changes and your rights

We will present revised Terms for acceptance before you continue using Chillin when the required version changes. We record the version you accepted and when you accepted it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
